Alfreda has gained a wealth of knowledge during her 22 years in the field of immigration and she has been recognised by The Legal 500 as a leading expert in both corporate and private immigration.
Before joining Doyle Clayton in 2022, Alfreda was a partner for 16 years at Magrath Sheldrick LLP, a Tier 1 ranked immigration practice in London. She is dual qualified as a South African attorney and a British solicitor.
She has extensive experience on all aspects of the Points Based System, advising clients on all aspects of Immigration, navigating the UK’s complex and ever changing immigration framework.
She specifically has advised global corporate clients and SMEs from a range of sectors including private equity, information technology, hospitality, retail, financial and professional services, education, logistics, healthcare and media.
She focuses on the proactive management of applications for skilled workers and global business mobility workers, as well as sponsor compliance, conducts mock audits and attends official Home Office compliance audits. She supports organisations and individuals with strategic advice in relation to EU citizens' rights following Brexit.
She also has extensive experience, acting for private individuals on all types of immigration matters.
