Anne-Marie is a Partner and Co-Head in our Bristol office and brings over 30 years’ experience of advising employers and senior executives on employment law matters.

Anne-Marie spends most of her time advising corporate clients, ranging from start-ups to global multinationals, and works closely with HR professionals, CEO’s, CFO’s and MD’s to advise on their employment law issues, and manage their risk. Throughout her career, she has developed and maintained key client relationships and is praised for her accessible, commercial and pragmatic style of working.

Her specialisms include Employment Tribunal litigation (particularly more complex claims such as discrimination and whistleblowing), grievances and investigations, disciplinary, capability and redundancy process and negotiating exit arrangements. She has a particular specialism in TUPE and menopause (contributing to an article in The Guardian, and has provided input to the Employment Lawyers Association for the Government consultation on menopause in the workplace).

She is also a skilled presenter and trainer, and has devised and delivered many bespoke training events for HR teams, managers. boards of large businesses and employee forums.

Anne-Marie was appointed as a part-time Employment Tribunal Judge in 2021 and has been sitting on a variety of employment cases since her appointment. Additionally she is a trained and accredited mediator, specialising in employment disputes – both within the workplace setting and also those that have become more protracted.
