Jack is an employment law solicitor who advises both organisations and individuals on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters.

He advises clients on day-to-day employment matters including redundancies, disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence management procedures, restrictive covenant enforceability, and employment status considerations. He is also experienced in drafting documentation, such as employment contracts, policies, director’s service agreements and consultancy agreements.

Jack regularly advises on and negotiates settlement agreements, and when acting for individuals, he helps them to determine whether the exit package offered to them under their agreement provides them with adequate compensation in the circumstances.

Jack also has experience representing clients in the employment tribunal in claims relating to issues such as unfair dismissal, TUPE, discrimination and whistleblowing. He has acted for organisations operating across a number of different sectors, including pharmaceuticals, technology, construction and insurance.
