Jonny is a Legal Advisor in the Education team. He also assists lawyers with a wide range of Employment, Data Protection and High Court matters.
Jonny has a particular interest in disability discrimination, particularly Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). He advises parents through the education health and care plan process and represents parents and young people at the SEND Tribunal. Jonny also works closely with the more senior members of the team on a wide range of employment, data protection and High Court matters.

- Assisting parents and students with complaints and appeals including exclusions
- Advising on Higher Education disputes, disciplinary sanctions, academic appeals, requests for extensions and interruption of studies
- Handling complaints through university complaints procedures and to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education
- Advising on special educational needs, requesting assessments and challenging the refusal to assess
- Challenging the content of education health and care (EHC) plans including appeals
- Bringing disability discrimination claims for parents and students
- Bringing negligence and breach of contract claims in the County Court

Qualifications
Jonny obtained his Graduate Diploma in Law in the summer of 2019 and was called to the Bar in February 2021.
