Kathy is an employment lawyer based in our City office. She joined Doyle Clayton in 2022, having qualified into the Employment team at Linklaters.

Kathy is an employment lawyer who advises both employers and individuals on all areas of UK employment law. She has significant experience advising clients in the financial sector, as well as the entertainment and retail sectors, and has worked with a number of FTSE 100 and 250 companies. She regularly advises on senior exits, redundancy processes, and grievance processes (for both individuals and employers) and has a particular interest in flexible working and discrimination claims.

  • Advising on defending an equal pay claim and an age discrimination claim
  • Advising on post-termination restriction enforcement as part of a team move
  • Drafting staff handbooks, employment contracts, and absence and disciplinary letters for global employers new to the UK employment market
  • Working on a client site for a number of months investigating cultural and disciplinary issues, including allegations of bullying and harassment

  • Acting for an individual in a high value whistleblowing claim
  • Advising global organisations on responses to Data Subject Access Requests under GDPR and managing complex document reviews

  • Legal practice course with Masters in Law and Business, Distinction (2018)
