Katy Murray

Katy has previously worked at Reading County Court where she learned about litigation and the court process, gaining in depth experience of processing court applications and drawing up court orders. She also worked with the judiciary to ensure the smooth running of Cloud Video Platform hearings during the COVID period. 

Katy has also worked with the Schools Consent Project charity, going into schools to give presentations to secondary school children talking to them about their legal rights. She has also worked in the education sector, tutoring children from the ages of 4-16 throughout her time at university. Through this work, she was able to build strong relationships with a broad range of parents and children. 

Before studying law, Katy gained a History degree, with a specialist interest in Stuart Britain and the lives of women.
