Akshay is an EOT Services Director, specialising in guiding business owners through the transition to employee ownership.

With extensive experience supporting founders and leadership teams across a wide range of sectors, he delivers clear, commercially focused advice throughout the EOT (Employment Ownership Trusts) journey, and has advised on over 50 EOT transitions. 

Akshay is known for his honest, practical approach and his ability to support clients through complex structural, financial and strategic decisions. His background in tax advisory and employee ownership structuring enables him to advise on efficient, forward‑looking solutions that protect long‑term business continuity while meeting shareholder objectives. 

Akshay’s expertise includes advising on EOT transactions, designing the full structure of EOT sales, including pre-sale restructuring solutions to ensure commercial considerations are taken into account and that shareholder objectives can be met. He also provides ongoing support to new management teams and trustee directors after transition. He works with businesses to create bespoke share incentive schemes to retain and motivate key individuals, ensuring long‑term stability in employee‑owned businesses. 

His recent work includes advising on the sale of companies in a variety of sectors including; recruitment, construction, television and manufacturing. He is currently assisting some of the UK’s market leaders of their respective industries make the transition. For many of these clients, he developed innovative solutions to help shareholders extract their assets efficiently and support smooth transitions. 

Akshay is a qualified member of the Association of Taxation Technicians, bringing specialist tax insight to his advisory work. His leadership and innovation in the Employee Ownership Trust space were recently recognised with the 2025 Accountancy Age 35 Under 35 award. Akshay is also a regular speaker on EOT developments, offering practical, forward‑thinking guidance to clients and industry audiences alike.
