Emma is an employment law partner and is head of client training, working with clients to deliver tailored training to ensure compliance and best practices.

With over 20 years’ experience in employment law, she advises businesses across a wide range of sectors, including finance, technology, healthcare, leisure, hospitality and professional services. Emma works closely with HR teams, Boards, managers and senior leadership groups in the UK, EU and globally, providing strategic, commercially focused advice that helps organisations navigate complex employment challenges effectively. Her approach is clear, practical and solutions‑driven, shaped by many years of supporting clients through both day‑to‑day issues and high‑stakes situations.

Emma is widely recognised for her expertise in designing, developing and delivering workplace training and leadership development programmes. She works with clients to create tailored training ecosystems that build capability, strengthen compliance and embed effective management behaviours across organisations. Alongside her training work, she advises on employment disputes and litigation, disciplinary and grievance matters, redundancies and restructures, workplace policies and compliance, discrimination and harassment issues, equality law and settlement agreements.

Her commitment to knowledge sharing extends beyond client work. Emma regularly hosts and contributes to webinars, delivers employment law updates, speaks at industry events and legal forums, writes articles and thought‑leadership pieces, and features on podcasts discussing key workplace and HR trends. She is also a legal expert for the Menopause Experts Group and serves as Chair of Governors at Desborough College in Maidenhead. She holds a First‑Class Law Degree from Exeter University and qualified as a solicitor in 2001, and she is a long‑standing member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
