Jonny is a Legal Adviser in the Education team.
He advises parents, young people and families on a wide range of education law matters, providing clear, supportive guidance through complex and often highly sensitive issues.
Jonny has a particular focus on disability discrimination and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). He regularly advises parents through the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process and represents parents and young people in the SEND Tribunal. His approach is practical and client‑focused, helping families understand their options and progress matters efficiently.Â
Alongside his SEND work, Jonny supports senior members of the team on a wide range of employment, data protection and High Court matters. He also advises on higher education disputes, including disciplinary sanctions, academic appeals, requests for extensions and interruptions of study, and assists with complaints through university procedures and appeals to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator.
