Julian’s expertise span claims involving breaches of directors’ and fiduciary duties, fraud, breach of contract, shareholder disputes, professional negligence, pensions litigation and corporate governance issues. His experience includes acting for defendants and claimants in major High Court (Commercial and Chancery) proceedings, including cases concerning: fraudulent and negligent trading activity and unlawful directorial conduct; ‘best endeavours’ contractual obligations, contract formation and remuneration disputes; and complex litigation relating to hedge fund profits, and involving jurisdictional challenges and privacy applications. He is also highly experienced in pensions‑related litigation, representing trustees and representative beneficiaries in cases involving scheme rectification, employer debt regulations and interpretation of scheme rules.
