Lydia advises both corporate clients and individuals on a wide range of employment law matters.
Lydia conducts and advises on Employment Tribunal litigation, acting for both Claimants and Respondents. She has experience assisting on complex discrimination claims under the Equality Act 2010, including disability discrimination and sexual harassment. She has also supported on whistleblowing and unfair dismissal claims. In addition to Employment Tribunal work, Lydia has experience conducting and assisting on claims in the County Court.
Lydia advises corporate clients on employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance processes and sickness absence management. She also drafts and reviews employment contracts, staff handbooks and workplace policies, and has assisted in delivering training on key developments in employment law. Her experience also includes supporting clients with workplace audits and internal investigations.
Lydia regularly advises individuals on settlement agreements and assists with without prejudice negotiations for both employees and employers to help achieve effective resolutions of workplace disputes.
