Peter is the firm’s Senior Partner and Head of the City office, advising on complex and high‑value employment and partnership law matters.
Peter works with senior executives, partners and LLP members in senior leadership and regulated roles in the financial and professional services sectors. His clients also include insurance companies, banks, private equity firms, brokers, law firms and other City‑based businesses.
He is widely recognised for his expertise in restrictive covenants and team moves disputes, frequently acting in High Court litigation. Peter also advises on contentious exits, service agreements and settlement negotiations, and is regularly instructed on reputationally sensitive matters involving breach of fiduciary duties, misuse of confidential information, whistleblowing and discrimination. His approach is calm, strategic, incisive and commercially astute. He cuts quickly to the key issues and delivers clear and decisive advice.
With more than 25 years’ experience, Peter supports both UK and multinational organisations on the employment and partnership aspects of their workforce strategy. He has acted in a number of reported cases, and he is often trusted with sensitive matters where the financial, regulatory and reputational stakes are high.
