Acas Publishes Latest Conciliation Statistics
Acas has published its third set of statistics following the introduction of early conciliation in April 2014.
Acas received 60,855 notification between 6 April 2014 and 31 December 2014, with notifications averaging around 1,800 per week from September to December. Holiday pay claims (following the decisions on overtime and commission) accounted for around 2,300 notifications (covering over 11,000 individuals) between mid August and the end of December.
23.2% of cases notified between April and September 2014 had progressed to a tribunal claim by the end of January 2015, whilst 60.5% did not progress to a tribunal claim and 16.3% resulted in a COT3 settlement.
