April Increases to Statutory Maternity Pay, Sick Pay and Other Statutory Payments
The Government has announced increases in the rates of statutory maternity pay, statutory sick pay and other statutory payments which will apply from April 2018.
From 1 April, the prescribed rate for statutory maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental pay will increase to £145.18 a week (up from £140.98). From 6 April 2018, the weekly rate of statutory sick pay will increase to £92.05 (up from £89.35).
