Chambers and Partners 2025: Doyle Clayton continues to rank highly

The Chambers and Partners 2025 UK legal guide has been published and we are delighted that, in addition to maintaining our top rankings across multiple categories, four of our fee earners have been rewarded for their great work with a climb in the individual rankings. Please find full details below.

Employment – Multiple fee earners climb the rankings

Our Employment teams across London and Reading have retained their bands from the 2024 rankings. Reading has once again ranked as Band 1 for Employment: Thames Valley, and the London office has been ranked in Bands 2 and 4 for Senior Executives and Employers, respectively.

Tina Wisener and Peter De Maria have maintained their Band 1 rankings, with the latter also climbing to Band 2 for High Court Litigation, a promotion from his ‘Spotlight’ ranking from last year.

Kate Kapp, who was promoted to Head of Thames Valley Office in 2024, is now ranked as ‘Up and coming’, a band up from her 2024 ‘Associate to watch’ ranking.

Dan Begbie-Clench has continued to be recognised for his work for Employers, once again receiving a Band 5 ranking, and has been promoted to Band 4 for his work with Senior Executives.

The wider team were recognised further, with  Robert Maddox maintaining his 'Star Associate' ranking, and Adam Murdoch, Mike Hibberd, Paul Hayward and Rose Smith all maintaining their ‘Associate to Watch’ ranking. Additionally, Helen Brooks, Emma Hamnett and Karen Holden have all received ‘Potential’ status.

Immigration – Strong rankings maintained

The Immigration team has maintained their 2024 rankings across the board, ranking Band 4 and Band 2 in Business Immigration and Personal Immigration, respectively.

Individuals in the team continue to be recognised, with team head, Anita de Atouguia, and Partner, Malini Skandachanmugarasan, both maintaining their Band 2 rankings, and Anna Blackden once again being named as an ‘Associate to watch’.

Education – A new individual ranking

The Education team has continued to be recognised for its work with individuals, with their Band 3 ranking being maintained. Team head, Simon Henthorn, has again been ranked Band 3 for his work with individuals, and for his work with schools, whilst Amara Ahmad has been ranked as an 'Associate to watch’ for the first time.

Senior Partner, Peter De Maria, commented,
