Doyle Clayton advises the shareholders of Cadence Innova on sale to Transform UK

Doyle Clayton has advised the shareholders of Cadence Innova on its acquisition by Transform UK, a leading digital, technology and data consultancy organisation. The transaction was led by corporate partner Thomas Clark who was assisted by solicitor Leah Caprani.

The acquisition will consolidate Transform’s ambitious growth plans and provides a platform for accelerated growth whilst offering a greater breadth and depth of capabilities in the market.

Transform became a part of the Next 15 Group in 2022, after the purchase of the Engine Group, and has been shaping the transformation of the UK’s public sector for the past 15 years.

Cadence Innova is one of the UK’s leading management consulting firms as recognised by the Financial Times for five consecutive years. Both businesses have been at the heart of transforming public services over the last ten years.

Thomas Clark, a partner at Doyle Clayton, commented,

“Cadence Innova is a fantastic organisation and we are delighted to have supported them with the next step in their journey, helping to ensure shareholder objectives were met in an efficient but understandable manner.”

Cadence Innova’s Founding Partner, Gary Ashby, added,

“This acquisition marks a significant milestone in our journey, and we are thrilled about the opportunities it presents for both Cadence Innova and our customers. We would like to thank Thomas and Leah of the Corporate team at Doyle Clayton for all their hard work, commitment and support throughout the process, helping the transaction to run as smoothly as possible. Both Thomas and Leah went above and beyond to ensure the transaction completed.”

Both organisations will continue to operate independently until 1 February 2025, when the new company will become fully operational.
