Points Based Calculator to be Switched Off
The Home Office has confirmed that it will be switching off its Points-Based Calculator from 6 April 2016.
Previously, applicants could use the Points-Based Calculator to confirm that their overseas degree qualifications were sufficient to meet the English language requirement. The Home Office has advised that it is too costly to manage and maintain the calculator on-line, which is why it is being withdrawn. Applicants now need to assess whether their overseas degree meets the requirements of the rules themselves.
