The Legal 500 2025: Doyle Clayton maintains its Tier 1 ranking

Employment – A top tier ranking and a new ‘Next Generation Partner’

Our Employment teams have maintained their 2024 rankings; the Reading office has been placed in Tier 1 (Employment: Thames Valley), and our London office has ranked in Tiers 2 and 4, for Senior Executives* and Employers** respectively.

Tina Wisener*** and Peter De Maria* remain named as ‘leading partners’, whilst Alison Garrow and Peter Daly have maintained their ‘Next Generation Partner’ rankings.

Adam Murdoch and Paul Hayward, based in our Reading office, also received individual rankings, with Adam being named a ‘Next Generation Partner’ for the first time, and Paul as a ‘Leading Associate’.

Immigration – Rankings maintained and a new ‘Next Generation Partner’

Our Immigration team maintained its Tier 2 and Tier 3 rankings for Immigration: Business, and Immigration: Human Rights, Appeals and Overstay, respectively. It was also awarded a Tier 3 ranking for its personal immigration work.

Anita de Atouguia and Malini Skandachanmugarasan are named as ‘Next Generation Partners’ as well as Alfreda Joubert, who joined Doyle Clayton in 2023. This means that all the partners within our Immigration team have been recognised with individual rankings by the Legal 500.

Education – Tier 1 ranking maintained and a promotion to Tier 2 for our work with schools

Our Education team has maintained its Tier 1 ranking for its work with individuals and has been promoted to Tier 2 for its work with schools. Head of department, Simon Henthorn, continues to be recognised as a ‘Leading Partner’ in both categories, and Amara Ahmad is also recognised as a ‘Leading Associate’.

We would like to thank all those who have contributed to the research and for their thoughtful and positive feedback. You can read our full The Legal 500 profile here.
