Health & Safety

Our experienced Chartered Consultants will provide your business with a bespoke health and safety management system covering the health and safety policy, health and safety manual, specific procedures and forms. 

This includes support on guiding you through implementing a health and safety management system, developed against BS OHSAS 18001:2007 criteria.

Competent person

We can act as your competent person in line with the ‘Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations’. We can attend your health and safety committee meetings providing legislative and good practice updates and guidance on all topics discussed.

Compliance review – done initially and then yearly

Once appointed, we’ll complete a compliance review report of your business health and safety requirements to understand your individual needs. The report explains the legal requirements and what changes you’ll need to make to comply. It provides practical recommendations that you can achieve. It is advisable to have a review done yearly to ensure you remain compliant and up to date with the needs of your business and legislation.

Implementing Health and Safety

We provide a range of advisory services and support to help you complete internal audits, risk assessments, safe systems of work, DSE assessments, COSHH assessments, PUWER risk assessments, contractor managements, due diligence and more.

Retainer contract

We can provide a bespoke retainer contract so that support and advice is on hand where and when it’s needed.

Accreditations

If you need help to achieve BS OHSAS 18001:2007, environmental management system BS EN ISO 14001:2015 or other specific standards, we can provide support and advice.

Training

We provide in-house bespoke training, including health and safety awareness, manual handling, fire awareness, first aid, risk assessors, COSHH awareness, environmental awareness and more. Please get in touch for a full list.

If your business needs support through the Achilles UVDB audit process, we can help you develop your health and safety management system. Our consultants have considerable audit experience including gap analysis before the Achilles audit so that you have a tailored action plan helping you to achieve accreditation. 

RISQS audits 

If you want to work on the network rail infrastructure and London underground, we can help you obtain the RISQS audit. We’ll help ensure your health and safety management system meets the requirements of the RISQS audit protocol(s), and Network Rail standards as well as the Sentinel Scheme Rules. Our consultants have experience with reviewing and development of major incident plans for all organisations.
